In this short podcast (aka "rant mode"--buck up), we discuss my sister's 45 lb.+ fat loss after 5 years of cycling, never sticking with her changes. She discusses consistency in her lifestyle change and how others want to know the magic secret.

Natalee said, "that used to be me. I wanted to know the secret to lose weight and look good. Now I know until you want it and get consistent, it will do nothing for you."

Natalee has PCOS, endometriosis, and was on fertility drugs for years. Did she have an excuse? SURE! And it took over 6 months to lose the first 10-15 pounds. And getting to that barrier took so much work! 

"It's so easy to cut corners and say you are doing well. But when you're transparent with yourself (and your coach)," she said."

When you're honest with yourself, it's hard. But it's required to make the change. Be honest about your emotional eating. Your binge eating. The things you deny. 

"Until you can be brutally honest and face these things, and be honest with others, you won't change. There is no quick fix."

Are there sluggish hormones that slow things down? YES! But 9 times out of 10, I have found the person isn't being consistent in their nutrition.
